From our humble beginnings as a family business in 1998, Ruiz Constructions today are a key player in both domestic and commercial markets of the ACT and surrounding region. We recognise that building in the 21st century is no longer about just bricks and mortar. It’s about responding to building standards that are constantly shifting to accommodate new technology, growing client expectations and environmental concerns.

Building Quality

At Ruiz Constructions, we pride ourselves on our ability to construct projects of exemplary quality and workmanship. Our continued commitment to building quality is demonstrated through our comprehensive after delivery care where, during specified Defect Liability Periods, we ensure that construction elements are in fact complete to our high standard of workmanship.

In order to meet our vision of having a satisfied client at the end of every project, during construction;

  1. We monitor the quality and finishing detail of all subcontracted works and address issues as an ongoing process.

  2. We continually educate our employees and subcontractors of the company’s commitment to building quality, and ensure this commitment influences work patterns and final products.

Clients also have opportunities to inspect building quality during construction, with formal pre-practical completion defects inspections providing an opportunity to identify any issues.

We realise that in residential construction especially, we are often dealing with clients undertaking one of the greatest and most stressful purchases they will make in their lifetime. Eddie Ruiz - Director and Sales & Marketing Manager

Prior to making the switch to lead Ruiz Group with his brother, Eddie had extensive professional experience in roles that helped him develop his management expertise. Eddie’s approachable personality means he can liaise with people from all walks of life on a real level, while his formal qualifications and experience in the building industry allow him to give sound advice with a ‘hands on’ approach. Eddie specialises in construction estimating and sales and is a member of the HIA Policy Committee.

Pep Ruiz -

Director and Construction Manager

Pep has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. Pep’s variety of roles in this time has exposed him to all aspects of the building process, allowing him to gain in-depth understanding of the different stages of construction. These include products and detailing, construction methods and current building trends. Pep’s professionalism is characterised by a core understanding of how each stage of the construction process relates to the variety of stakeholders involved.

Joe Gordon -

Project Administrator

Joe has been with Ruiz Group since June 2015. Currently studying a Bachelor of Building and Construction Management and a Bachelor of Law at the University of Canberra, he is excited to be able to gain industry experience. Joe’s role consists of working closely with our project manager through tendering, procurement, management of jobs and general administration to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
